CAN anyone help . Had to get two new engine mounts for my gq 4.2 deisel .After buying two new non geunine engine mounts and fitting them i found the bits of steel (which i think is there for saftey ) are touching sending a vibration through the car making the mounts usless . :bad-words: i sent a email to this mob the that make them they dont want to know about it . :bad-words:
can anyone sugest another type of mount or can the bits of steel be removed :)

I had the same prob so went back to genuine. Depends on year but 4 bolt ones need the original wrap plate ground a bit to stop noise during torque.
