Can u fold the windscreen down on a hard top bj40?

Im looking at buying a hardtop bj40 and am wondering if it is possible to fold the windscreen down without taking the top off, would be cool for shooting....

Simple answer... NO... it supports the stays on top of the front doors, and stops the roof flapping around... Plus, you would need to take the back doors off, to let the air through.. Otherwise it would be trying to destroy the roof :lol: :lol:

For his purposes, could he run a set of temporary, removable stays in place of the windscreen so when he goes shooting he can take the doors off and windscreen down and not have the roof flapping about?

Possibly, but as the roof seals over the screen you're still going to have to unbolt the roof to lift it off the screen frame AFK

Yep, the front part of the roof overlaps the top of the windscreen frame, so you'd have to take the roof off to fold the windscreen forward.

i have always wondered this with the 75 too, as its bolted to the roof, but has hinges

thanks guys, might have to turn it into a soft top, hardtop sounds good as far as heating and general driving and security though......

Even with a soft top you will have dramas if you want a roof over your head...at the same time... . simple answer... buy a ute shoot from the back of that...
