Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey ive just serviced my truck td42n/a and i keep gettin dirt and crud in my fuel bowl ive checked my tank and its clean as....but the previous owner to me has run a garden hose from the breather at the filler kneck down to my rear im just wondering if that could be the problem??? wheres abouts are they supposed to run from factory?? any helpl would be greatly appreciated... cheers

You should probably find this piece of 'garden' hose, rip it out and put properly rated fuel hose in it's place. Garden hose is obviously not designed for fuel oils and is probably being broken down by the diesel. Flush the tank if you can or you'll probably have to keep cleaning the water trap/bowl until it all runs through or you could temporarily fit an inline filter.
