stereo wiring

:roll:sterero wiring, hi all,i want too wire stereo to 2nd battery can you wire both constant and acc red wire direct to battery reason being i have 2 front speakers wired to cd unit rear speakers on amp so when you camp you dont drain cranker battery i assume u just have to remember too turn it off manually if wired like this. thanks

Basically the only change you really need to make from how you'd normally do it is the constant +12v should be supplied straight from the 2nd battery with a dedicated cable and fuse.

The acc, illum, antenna etc. are all fine to wire straight up like they are off the 1st battery.

They're only used as triggers or for fairly low power circuits so their current draw should be tiny.

Amp should also have it's power wired up to the 2nd battery, head unit will use it's remote wire to turn it on or off.

Am I making sense ?
