Clutch issues

My bro got his mate to change the clutch in his Hilux, and well now it won't disengage properly. It was fine b4, just slipped real bad and got to the point where it had no drive from it slipping 100%, so towed it home.

They changed the clutch over and now it keeps grinding away when he tries to put it into any gears, like it's not disengaging.

Any ideas? I know on the old Commodores when we've changed clutches that we had to adjust the clutch fork pivot ball......but not sure if the Hilux is the same.

Not sure wat model it is. But it's a 4cyl diesel 5spd. Prolly around mid to late 80's.

Thx for the replies guys! Will definitely report back with the results. My bro has it at his work in the mechanic's yard, and the mechanic lives in a small town about half hour away, so didn't wanna bother him over the weekend.

My bro just told me it's all good. They bled the line, and adjusted the clutch pedal and it's apparently working good again.

Thx for the help guys.
