Just wondering if anyone knows someone in melbourne who fabricates these snorkles.

Most people have been saying they make them themselves, id struggle to find the time.

Stainlesss Steel is real expensive, Ive had a quote from the SS welders at my work, for a 3inch SS snorkle for a mate of mine, all one piece, was over 150bucks. And thats mates rates, cost price for the SS(314) and a little bit on top for labour.
Mine was given to me, complete, but not the best welding, so I had the guys at work cut and re tig it, making it 100mm longer. It cost a carton of stubbies.

Stainless looks really good - however it sets up a corrosion cell with carbon steel and aluminium. To help prevent corrosion of the mild steel you can make sure any cut edges in contact with the stainless are well insulated with paint or rubber etc

I noticed Ben at 4Bfab making SS snorks when I picked up my rear bar. He does good work too if my rear bar is anything to go by...

At 4b fab we make snorkles to suit most cars as we make them to suit individual cars we require the car to do them.
we can make them with rubber bends or my speciality is welded stainless mandrel bend snorkles.
Give Benno a call and we can hook you up.
