I'm soon to do a ruf / ifs set up on my Hilux and just wanting peoples opinions on brake lines from what I have read in the bible 200 mm longer is what the suggest is it worth going braided or just standard rubber as braking is not the greatest with the 35 I have on the car let alone loosing some pressure at the calipers I plan on upgrading the brake somewhere into the future but my build time frame is un determined and I don't want to have absolute rubbish brakes and have to spend money time and time again so really after people who have first hand experience with changing rubber lines into braided
Thanks steven

I agree, I have got rubber lines on my hilux, I havent done a RUF or IFS rears job though, but I got them made up. They seem pretty good though.
I think I read somewhere that the steel braided lines are not entirely legal on road as well, but I could be wrong about that.

There are a few companies that have had thier braided lines ADR approved

one downside to braided is you cant clamp off the line close to the caliper if you want to do work on the car or change a cv
saying that, you prob dont need to clamp them off on a hilux becasue you can move the caliper aside when the line is so long
