i remember seeing a thread about it a few yrs back but can't find it.

cheers,
Tyler.

mark gaurds, cut with angle grinder, if needed youj can noth and fold a section back to create a lip or kust fit a side fitting type flexi gaurs as available from truck places, touch up the exposed metal with some killrust or similar

sorry got no picts , but it's not that hard to do . as said before , just mark out the Raduis that you want to cut and go for it .
But , if you cut out more than about 10-15mm , your left with a gap between the outer skin and the wheel arch tub . the more you cut , the bigger the gap . I cat about 30mm out and for the lower part of the rear wheel arch the was about 15mm .
all id did was weld a 20mm wide strip of 1.2m/s back in to cover up the gap and seal the inner gaurd ( this also give you somewhere to fix the flares' to . came up realy well , but I did repaint the rear quarter .

Mine are cut back to the inner guard and the lip roughly tapped in with a persuader. They are 36's tucked in there and they only just rub on the flare on the back edge. That's with extended lower arms too.
