Hello,
I have made some enquiries about diffllocks and ring pinion gears for Kia Sportages from a xompany in Greece. http://www.protrack.gr/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I recieved a reply bac today from Micheal and it is finally possible since the demiss of Tanker Motors in Korea
Here was Micheals reply:
Hello Chris.
Yes, we do make a locker for the Sportage (the old model with the 28 spline
rear).I don't have any in stock, and you have to place an order to start
producing.The rear costs 950 euro and the front costs 650 euro (the prices do not
include tax or shipping).We have 5.29 ring and pinions, but these cannot be used with the factory
carrier/diff.On top of that the locker p/n is different for factory ring/pinion or 5.29
ring/pinion.The ring and pinion set for both front and rear cost 700 euro and include 2
bearings and yokes that are needed for install.
Our company has built reduction gears for the t-case, but because of
extensive work that needs to be done on the t-casing itself and due to lack
of interest, we do not produce them any more.
Regards,
Michael
So who will be the first to be double diffed in AUS?
Cheers, Chris
