pod filter
hey guys, just a quick question. i've seen some other guys with pod filters on their snorkel just wanted to know is this just cause they think their cool or are they using it as sort of a pre filter, and if so when its raining will it suck in extra water?
They are being used as a precleaner. Not a bad idea (and about the only safe place for a pod filter in a 4X4 - i.e with an actual air filter between it and the engine) but probably not as sensible as a proper centrifugal bowl precleaner.
