Hey guys,
tried searching for an older thread but had no luck,
just wanting any 80 series owners to post up some pics of your rig!!
I'm looking to buy one to set up for touring and weekend camping at comps,
So please post up some pics of your 80 series both packed up for travelling and set up for camping (e.g awnings out, roof top camper set up) with a list of accessories and mods that you think make camping so much easier.
Thanks heaps in advance, Mosko
p.s If you have an 80 already set up for
touring and are wanting to sell let me know!
P.s.s (mods am I allowed to ask that??)

If you're after an easy camping experience for a wife and or kids go a camper trailer. Add to that the hot water shower systems that run off the car's cooling system and a kettle and you've got the makings of a 3 star hotel right there.
I think logically towing a trailer is no less of a hassle than a roof top camper, because the roof top won't get you into parking lots, and will hit on low hanging branches.
It's all personal preference anyway and what works for you probably doesn't work for me. Being the elegable bachelor that I am I just sleep on the rear seat of the 80.

you must be a pygmy or very drunk. Ive managed to sleep on the backseat but i was quite messy and woke up with a sore neck.
mosko you should just buy 1 of everything for an 80, and what you dont like i will buy off you cheap
start with some rear draws!

The problem with that D.r.s is that I need an 80 before I can buy stuff for it!!
Plus I'm sure the TLO going wayyyy over schedule will be giving you enough pocket money to shout me some draws with a 40ltr fridge slide!!

lol. 6 foot and i dont drink. Perhaps it's that I only sleep 4-5 hours at most but i've found the arched legs in the tent - or dorm room masturbation position position rather comfortable.

go buy an 80 then retardo!!
hey i will give you a good deal on a 96 GXL.
and how did you guess i wanted a 40 litre fridge slide?
rooftop tent wouldnt be great as a drinker i think or if you wanted to camp like on fraser island, and each day go exploring. you have to pack your house up each day....
