Balancing Simex tyres

Is it possible to balance Simex JT's & ET's ?

Off course it is with the right person on the job. With mechanical beadlocks is harder though.

It sure is,
I had my Q78 Swampers Balanced, and roly had his centipedes balanced.
Find a good truck balancer, or aircraft tyre balancer and your in business.
Procomp in Narre Warren seem to get my Trxus spot on each time i need them balanced. they have experience in BIG tyres

Some of mine needed a slug of weight, but it can be done.

easy
jack up car
remove left hand side simex's and place in LH corner of shed
remove right hand side simex's and place in RH corner of shed
now bolt on new SWAMPERS
SEE! BALANCED!

So swap from rubber that is actually round that is hard to balance, for rubber that is not round and also hard to balance

funny fing is that i got mine balanced any they were fin till i ripped the .5kg thay put on so i ripped the rest of and now they are better but 100%
I know 3 other bloke with ET's that don't have em balnced and they are better then mine were when they were balnced go figure
btw i run 2nd air badlocks so dunno if they make it hard or not to balance...

Whats a balance weight?
Had up to 260grams of lead on a 9X32 swamper.... never tried balancing off road tyres since- I think balance on off road tyres comes with a 1/1 warranty... One airdown or one trip

A lot of BFGs can be as hard to balance as some of the big bias ply bushrippers. And its not just the large mud sizes either!

Ive got my 35 et s with simex tubes balanced. Lots of lead on the side ,but they drive fine. Just need to turn up the stereo.....

My 36 ET's aren't balanced and aren't bad until about 120ish, the mob that put them on said they couldn't be done and that they were about 400g out! That said i'm sure other places with experience in large tyres could do it, read somewhere about putting patches on the inside of the tyre to add weight as well as wheel weights? I'll get them done someday.

I manged to get my swampers balanced, (go to truck places, they have some HUMONGO weigths) I had to keep em balanced as without balance it would get such violent shakes up it would almost fling the Zuk off the road.
my old claws balanced easily .. once they were moved around on the rims a few times to find the best "position" on the rim

i got my JTs on beadlocks balanced at pro comp in narre warren, ranging from 150-650g out !
