every V8 conversion i have done on my MQ/Mk patrols in the past, i have run the MQ/MK radiator.
They are much bigger and cool better then the V8 ones.

The diesel radiator and the petrol radiator have outlets in different positions, i cant recall which one suite a holden V8 but i do know that one of them is very close to the right outlets for a holden v8.

once you have figured it out and possibly changed the piping a little bit, then bolt that in and buy a AU falcon TWIN thermo fans setup.
This is what i always ran and it always kept things cool.....

TURN OFF THE CAP LOCKS FOR STARTERS :bad-words:

The diesel radiator (SD33) should line up almost exactly for the V8 holden motor, although you'll need to extend the hoses in order to reach.

The petrol engine radiator (L28) will need the inlet / outlet swapped over, a simple task to do.... large soldering iron, solder, hole-saw, 2 welshplugs to fill the old holes...... half hour job.

There are several differing radiators other than just the diesel / petrol combinations..... the number of cores is where the differance lies, make sure you get a radiator from a patrol that has airconditioning.... patrols without aircon have a much lower core-count and do NOT cool aswell.

The number of cores varies by up to 14 cores with a 46 rowed radiator being the highest from memory.
