Mate....check wiring behind drivers side parker. Ive had 5 GQ's and all done the same thing.
First time i pulled apart everything....dash, panels etc.. to check all wiring. couldnt find anything, even got an electrician to check it. No progress with him either.
I finally checked wiring towards lights and found wiring for parker had worn out and was short-circuiting on metal.
I just separted exposed wires and shrink wrapped them and changes fuses and everything was fixed.
On the other GQ's.....same thing happened and for some reason it was always the drivers side parker.
Dont know if it will help ya, but u never know.
good luck

This same problem just happened to me the other week. I'm guessing your dash is not lighting up when you turn your lights on also?
If so it's your switch. I got an auto-electrician to take it apart and re-solder for $80.
