PROSPORT Performance EGT gauge Q's

Anyone fitted a PROSPORT EGT gauge?
I just did and the backlight is flashing on and off both on day and night settings..
Anyone know why it would be doing this?
I have sent an email to the manufacturer but want to sort it today.
