if i use reducers 4" down to 3" then to the original 2 3/4" on the air filter box is that going to be a bad thing???

you will loose some power and lag poss it will only come into effect in high hp turbo set up
lifted and locked 80 series landcrusier
turbo 1 fzfe straight gas 35" claws and heaps more crap inside

depends on how deep you set the fuel.

I sucked a 4" POD filter flat with mine.

ordered the dump pipe flange today ill get some 3" tube tomorrow,that should be done by next weekend!!

next to do take of sump and hammer out dent from hidden stump,install oil return ,fit adaptor to oil pressure switch and run line!!

oil fittings in sump ,sumps on, oil in, oil feed is teed off and working, rest now have lunch, take off exhaust manifold sarvo and bolt on exh an turbo hook up oil line and pipes should test drive tomorrow,hopefully??

hit a snag exhaust nuts bit tight soaking in inox overnight try again tomorrow

Curious to why your taking the exhaust manifold off, or do you mean the exhaust from the from the exhaust manifold. As I don't think you have any need to remove the exhaust manifold it's self?

bought another one so i could bolt it all together before putting it in the car!!didnt need to just did actally now sitting on the studs ready to tighten up

how did you go with the wastegate actuator did you have to modify the mount to get it to fit or not

had to make new bracket and lenghten the throw on the actuator,but its all bolted in now ill run some pipers this week ,have to mod the heater water return pipe as it looks like it will be in the way of the exhaust

the steel part of my heater pipe misses by about 10mm. But im running a different manifold and an adapter plate too.

moved the water line pipe, ran water lines hooked up oil lines just waiting on silicone bends ,exhaust on friday [3"with muffler or without???any suggestions????]should be going next weekend

muffler for sure, unless you like being looked at everywhere you go.

I fitted a 3" system to my factory turbo 80 and it was way too noisey with no muffler, sounded like a school bus with a broken manifold.

go the longest straight through muffler you can fit in. It will still sound beefy, but will take some of the noise out without affecting flow
