Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Guys, a mate of mine rang me today about one of his mates V6 Paj. It seems to be running out of fuel(tank is full) when going up a steep hill. Mainly offroad.

Any help would be great.

I'd be checking for vapor lock causing the fuel starvation. Check all the vapor recovery lines to the carbon cannister etc to make sure they are clear.
It's not an overly complicated EFI set up for the 3.0 V6.
Start with the basics, fuel filter, pinched fuel line, loose electrical connector for fuel pump or injectors etc.
Failing all this you can use a multi-meter to check for a fault code.
