Track Hazard Warranty

Its great to see we finally have someone doing Track Hazard Warranty on Tyres like they do in the states.
For an extra 10% of the purchase price onthe tyres, you get a Track hazard warranty on the first half of the tyres life... Which means if you stake the NEW 44" bogger you just paid $1000 for, you can get another FREE no Questions
Warranty not valid if competing etc, but thats fair enough i think...
but , at least you can pay a little extra for peice of mind you not going to destroy your new tyres and be left with an EXPENSIVE peice of Rubber (got a few Near New tyres in the Garage with BIG holes from staking myself :( )

The number of places offering this type of warrantee is shrinking...there's too many a..holes who drive for 6 months then put a knife through them and demand new tyres. They'll build some of this cost into the normal prices so it just drives up the prices for everyone else.

i dont like the people who do this, as honest folk like myself, who just wear it and end up with 4 BFG 35" mud terrains that have had more hits than elvis and are all above 60%

would have thought it would be tough to get away with, Knife through a tyre is a little different to a stake / root / just about anything else that won't do a clean cut.

BJ, how bad are the tears, can you fist them or are they only a couple of centimetres long. I've had 3 sidewalls repaired on BFG's by vulcanizing and it only cost the same as getting a patch done. I'm sure there are some places around you that can do similar things.
John.

Comps ; pay for your own damage or dont enter if you cant afford the repair bills.

There is policies dedicated for motor sport as long as you get one of these polices I think you are free to claim as you have insured the risk as known by the insurance company How do you think GT cup guys can race a ferrari or lambo ??? I am sure they can not afford a write off.
