Hey everyone was just wanting some advice about thermo fans and what's best?
I have a petrol 60 series and am going to put a thermo fan on it that I bought this weekend and it's a pull or pusher can be used as either was just wondering what works best I got enough room to put it in front of the radiator or behind?
Also if I put it in front should I keep the clutch fan to help that bit extra?
In advance thanks

Your stock clutch fan is going to flow more air than a thermo. Have you got cooling problems? Is the clutch fan shrouded properly?

Yer it likes to get hot abit so I bought a thermo fan to just help it out and see if it makes a difference
you think I should get standard Clutch fan and add the thermo just as a help?

Thermo in front will just block air flow to the rad. As said, fix your cooling system. Your stock clutch fan should be more than adequate if it and the rest of your cooling system is working correctly.

The fans sold as generic pusher/puller types are junk. Complete junk. The simple fact that they work equally well pushing as pulling means they are terrible at doing both and they never come with a shroud.
If you want to run thermo electric fans, find fans from a production vehicle that are close to the right size and use as much of the original shroud as you can. Unshrouded fans are useless.
