No, the front diff is a hi pinion. Apparently the navara LSDs fit straight in though.

yeah ok thanks for that. would the navara lsd's be as strong as patrol diff centres?

I believe so, as they bolt straight in. Same splines everything. Am looking at putting one in mine unless I find a lokka laying around somewhere.

Only VG30E/VG33E and QD32 powered D22's got the H233B diff your looking for.
R50 Pathfinder's run the same rear diff aswell and VG30E powered WD21 Pathfinders.
Dave.

People put the high pinion centre from the front diff into the rear housing on shorty's to get a better drive line angle but part of the conversion is to put the spider gears from the rear diff into the front housing to give the same spline count for the axles. They are pretty much the same apart from the spider gears. (and obviously high / low pinion)

So would a rear lsd centre with front spider gears in a front hi pinion work in the front to give you a lsd front? and therefore a rear spider in rear pinion in front housing would work in rear?

Front spider gears are no good for LSD because they aren't splined for the LSD clutch plates.
