Anyone no the procedure to change the fluid on a 105 with ABS

I think these are the ones you need to use an intelligent tester with - the IT tester purges it as opposed to you manually pumping the brake peddle and bleeding it that way.

hopefully someone else can confirm, been a while since I did one.

front brakes you do as normal

rear brakes are a different procedure.
best to look up exact procedure from toyota or you will fuck the abs pump. and at 3 grand roughly to replace

Its just as normal really.

DOT3 fluid. (I used Castrol Response DOT4, which is claimed 100% DOT3 compatible, and havent had any problems. Some people will bitch and moan if you use anything but DOT3, and to be safe your probably better off with DOT3).

Do no let the master cylinder run dry! Apparently they are a reallll pain in the arse to bleed the master, ie, cant do it yourself. Must be done in a workshop D:!

When you do the rear, if you hold the brake pedal half way down it will keep pumping fluid in a constant stream, which makes it real easy to change your fluid out :)

Front you need to do the down up, down up, down up.

Get yourself a brake bleeding kit (one way valve in a piece of tube).

When your done, and your checking the level in the resevoir, you need to pump the pedal 40 times with ignition off. Then set the level in the resevoir correctly. It says this on your master cylinder too.

your forgetting that u need the ignition on to bleed the rears or the abs pump wont work
