Hi

I just want to know any of the guys whos got a inertia type seatbelts on their soft top 40 how you guys installed them with your roll cage.

I got mine with a 4 point harness, I still prefer the lap/sash type seat belts for daily and for legality

And did you use the original seat belts? anyone knows the part number for an aftermarket ones (KLIPPAN or other ones)
I know its illegal to buy a 2nd hand unit.

Please post pics

Cheers

they can be tab mounted off the bar ..but in qld will prob need eng cert to be legal..
and NO its not illegal to buy or use 2nd hand belts as long as they are not of the news style and have the breaking tag that shows the have been in an accident wreckers know better than to sell em

I used brand new KLIPPAN ones. It was easier for legality reasons. I think they were under $100 certainly under $200 each. You can get them at your Repcos/Bursons and the like. I am pretty sure I ended up buying mine off RAY185, after the service and wron parts were ordered a number of times by both Bursons and Repco. The cage has 10mm plates welded in with bolt tabs especially for these belts.

RAY just seems to get stuff faster and my local Repco and Bursons have the worst customer service.

My local bursons gives me about 30% off nearly every time, and gets things in literally 3 hours after I order them :?
