Wheel bearing help

I have a '85 LWB NT. Just in the process of changing the rear wheel bearings. Bearing kit are supose to be right for a NT. 6207??? bearing, lock collar and seal......no spacers.

Now, just removed an axle and it has the bearing with the wide inner :bad-words: .
I was under the impression this bearing was for WT models. Is it feasable it may have the wrong brgs fitted at some stage? Is the brg i have ok to use with no spacers?

Ok, looks like someone has changed the long side at some stage, as i just pulled the short side and it has the 6207 brg and a spacer. I take it by this the two differant bearing styles are somewhat interchangable, so what style is better?

They both work. IMO the thicker ones last longer.
If you ever need good bearings you should look up WEAVES on auszookers. He will give you the goods at a great price and he only deals with the best. I went through 2 sets of bearings in 4 months. I used is last time and they lasted over 8 months till I got rid of the suzuki diffs.
From memmory tey were KONO I think.

the bearing with the spacer built into the inner race is an 'update'. either bearing will work but if using the old style you NEED to have the separate spacer.
dimensionally the bearings are the same except for the length of the inner race. they are both as good as each other, just one has the spacer built into it, the other it is separate.

nahh they were installed correctly. If you came out for a wheel with me you would understand :D I beet the life out of my sierra every time I go out. I had a welded rear end and stickies. I normaly go through shafts faster then bearings. Thats the reason I am upgrading from the Suzuki tooth picks they call diffs to cruzer diffs.
