Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi guys
I am considering buying a 2 inch body lift for my 2000 hilux dual cab
Is there any major problems that come with doing a body lift?
I know that it can pull some lines out and that it can do something to the gear stick, making it hard to get into 5th?

you may need to mod the tunnel hole slightly but havent had to in a lux for a while now.
does yours have air bags? if so then not a good idea to B/L it.
other than that loosen steering shaft, remove fan shroud etc and away you go. if you need specific instructions pm me.

You will probably need to trim the gearstick hole slightly, to make sure you can get all gears/hi and lo range smoothly.
i di the same mod to my 86 lux, and also had to trim a bit out of the fan shroud.
Another thing is the fuel filler hose, you may have to get a longer one, also the hard lines that come out of the master cyl willl need to be stretched out gently to give the required length.
Just when you fit the kit, go slowly and check, recheck everything as you go.
Its an easy mod to do with a mate in a couple of hours.
