Thermo's on a MH Triton!

I recently bought a 1991 Mitsubitshi Triton. 3L V6 engine.
When I purchased the car, the previous owner had replaced the original radiator with a big ass stainless steel radiator. Guessing from a silvia.

It looks as if its dual core, not sure how to tell. Now, the original engine fan wouldn't fit.
Hence, he mounted twin thermo fans onto the radiator.
Suprisingly, the car doesn't over heat or anything. It sits half way on the temp guage and doesn't move (when warm).

So the question is, revert back to original? or keep the thermo's???

the previous owner may have had overheating problems, hence the large alloy radiator.

Keep this set up and check your engine temps in summer. Tritons have a good gauge that will slowly move when engine temps rise and fall. (unlike a lot of cars where the gauge will stay still at temps between 75 and 105 degrees)

Make sure the thermostat is 82 degrees. all catalogues list 88 degrees but i ran an 82 degree in my MJ V6 4x4 and it ran cooler in summer. (TR/TS magna 2.6L thermostat fits) These engine do not like excess heat when they get older.
