Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Am enquiring has anyone converted,or can u make room to seat three in the rear dickie seats of a gu.Need the room for my kids.Had a cruiser,that was ok,but am thinking of buying a gu.Wanted to know that it can be done first.

Hi mate,

I had a series 2 GU a few years back and my missus started her own day care business from home. As she did school runs she needed an extra seat belt in the rear to accomodate all the kids she had to ferry around. We got the rear dickie seats modified. The engineer put a thick plate under the floor attached to the chassis then mounted the extra seat belts to it. It was then mod plated for 8 seats, but the rear seats are only supposed to seat 3 kids, or still only 2 adults cause of the size of thier arses. So yes you can have it mod platted to seat 3.
