after noticing suspention was saggin on drivers side and almost rolling on its side when turning left ,I brought some new springs & fitted them up goin from a 2in to a 3in lift but still i've got the same problem although the sag is not as bad as previous and seems to be worse in rear possibly affecting the front .Any help would be much appreciated

It's pretty common. Most springs are labled driver side and passenger side, however even when you have that right they can lean. Not much you can do except pack one side with coil spacers.

The rolling in corners is probably worn sway bar bushes/shocks. suspension link bushes are probaby ordinary too.

yes very common problem can be due to bent spring mount or some accessory causing more weight on one side
as oldmate said coil spacers are the answer thats what my truck has in it
dont worry about it

my 80 does the same thing. had to put a 30mm packer in the rear drivers side to fix it up.

Are they dobbinson coils by chance?

Ive seen a few sets that were labeled wrong.

I had two different dobinson coil sets and had the problem. I even swapped left and right sides, but the lean still stayed the same

yes they are dobbinsons. should there be a slight differance in the spring hights when side by side?and if so which is left & right? P.s I fitted them according to the way they were labled. and thanks for the feed back

Ha Ha, Now we are getting somewhere x4 for dobbinson springs and sagging with a 25mm spacer on driverside.

I fitted a set of Dobbinsons to an 80 last week and had no problem. Front was perfect. Rear was pretty spot on too, 5mm higher on the right which is SFA as far as I'm concerned.

Strikes me as odd that changing the springs from side to side wouldn't fix the problem.

Especially if you are blaming the springs.

Mine has a 15 mm lean and no matter where I put the springs (front or rear) it leans the same way. I am suspecting suspension geometry is the culprit.

But spacers fix the prob.
