Replacing Tie-Rod

Just wondering what will I have to keep in mind when replacing the Tie-Rod (I bent the crap outta it at a local track this arvo :/) on my '84 Hilux?

I've never done one before so if anyone can give me any tips it would be muchly appresiated

Are you replacing the whole lot? The ends? Or the middle?

Easy enough to do with a decent balljoint seperator. The ends cn be a bastard to get off though. If you haven't already bought the new bits, try Bursons for replacements, although they only do ends.

I replaced my tie rod ends not that long ago on my 86 lux, I had new ends ready to go on, they came with new nuts and split pins, so keeping the old ones wasnt an issue.
I loosened the castle nut until it was at the top of the bolt, then belted it with a hammer, and as posted above, a balljoint seperator will come in handy too.
After youre done fitting the new ends, make sure you get a wheel alignment done.
