G'day mate, i would recommend 4.88 diff ratio's. As for suspension i would say 4 to 6 inch's? Depends how big you want your rig, there are many sorts of lifts out there, so do some research on what is available for your needs and budget.

With our lifts and flares you would only need 2" for 35's. 3" with stock flares.
4.88's would be right with the standard 2.72 case.

really? 2in? Is that with flatties? Im going off my tj, and there is no way a 2in lift would work, unless it had huge bump stops and all down travel

The TJ and JK are totally different with regards to tyre/lift..

I reckon you could run 35's on standard suspension with a little cutting..

Don't forget that JK's came with 33's (or near enough, on Rubi's) and TJ's came with 29's..

When they designed the JK the basically watched what people where doing with TJ's and put those ideas into the JK.
Longer wheelbase, wider track, higher guards with bigger openings.. so essentially a high fender from the factory.

Shame they're a plastic Grimace mobile :finger:

Nothing wrong with massive bumpstops and all down travel... a ratio of about 1/3 up and 2/3rd's down is what you should be aiming for.. unless you want a mall crawling ramp queen...

Yea i realised there was a difference in the 2 models but didn't realise a 2in lift would be all thats needed. Learn something new every day, thanks OIIIO. Im not disagreeing with huge bump stops.
