hi im looking at buying a nissan navara 05 model but ive heard a few horror stories about the motor can anyone help me.

what model navara? D22 or D40?
petrol motor or diesel?

im pretty sure its a d22 td so yeah ive herad bad things about them but i dnt no if its just that ppl dont like them?
