Mickey thomspons or BFG's?

So i've done some research around here and cant seem to find the forums that im after...

So heres another tyre question..

I need new 33 x12.50 r15 tyres for my runner. Tax returns in and looking sweet!
My 3 options are at this stage...
Mickey thompson MTZ's
Mickey thompson Radial baja Claws
Bfg Muddies km2's (the new version!?)

Prices are all around the $350-385 mark for each tyre.

Can anyone shed any light on experiences and tyre wear with these? Can i expect 60-80 thousand k's from them?

Thanks in advance...

It took me longer to copy and paste them into here than it did to find it on the search function. Your doing it wrong.
Try general tech too mate.

km2s are pretty good ive been running them for about 20k ks. seem to slide sideways down hills thou on angles. heaps of grip on rocks, wear aint to bad, ill be buyong bighorns next time thou. alot cheaper, a few mates are running them and have no dramas.

I dont think you will get 60-80k out of MTZs.

I have them on an 80series, they are worse than half worn after around 30,000kms.

Great offroad, drive pretty good on road in wet and dry conditions though they tend to float a bit they are 35"s though.

wear is dissapointing. They are a good allround play tyre IMO but ideally not for a daily driver.

Have had good wear from BFG ATs in the past and have them on my 100series now.

i got km2s and really like them, but mates have mtz and like them too.Dont think you could go wrong with either, but im a bfg man myself.
Km2s seem a bit better off road but dont seem to be lasting as long as the old style bfg mudder

Thanks for the input guys. Found all the info i was after.
Not sure why i couldnt search to find the same links that were posted above but i got my head around it now.

Turns out after some shopping around i can get some BFG KM2's for $350 each fitted which was the same price i was going to pay for MTZ's... The claws were $365 each fitted and originally the BFG's were $385 fitted.. Glad i did some shopping around!

Up the BFG's. Cant wait for them to arrive!

Great choice. I had mtz's and about 50% wear they where sh*t. I have the new km2's and love them to bits. They are awsome and 30% stronger sidewall. Only bad side is they dont have rim protectors anymore and I get branches and stone stuck between the rim and the tyre.

They really are a fantastic everyday and offroad tyre.

Yeah, dead chuffed with them so far... I had the old bfg kms with the rim protector and still ended up with dirt etc in the bead so I'm not too worried.
