g,day

I own a LZN169 Hilux Dual cab, 2inch spring lift/ 2 inch body 33/12.5r15

Just recently have returned from a trip away, since been back i have been experiencing a bad vibration in the rear only round 90 - 105km and over,

i had tail shaft rebuilt new centre bearing uni's and balance( have been told centre bearing have to be gen??) mines not, ive replaced rear leafs (due to RHS twisted) ive removed front shaft and vibe still there,

ive spaced tail shaft, removed and replaced both Lh and Rh rear wheel bearings.

swapped tyres around and also replaced front w/bearing ( had to replace brake thought was good idea at time to do both)\

anyone have ideas on what it may be? my next thing is removing diff centre in case ive damaged crown or pinion????????

any help would be awesome

hi bud ive got the same problem ive check every thing the only thing i can think of is the tail shaft is out as it was rebuild but it can go together so many ways.
ive lined up the yolks as was told but i think its still out.
the manual does ot tell me how to line it up im pretty sure this is what we need to fix.
let me know if you find anything and ill do the same

check the nut in the middle of the yokes both ends some times there can be movement letting the driveshaft go off center

Hey Guys I had a similar problem in my 4Runner. Two more things to check like thrashlux said check the crown nut and also the crown bearing.

Secondly check that you havent bent the flange which you bolt the drive shaft on to. I blew my driveshaft and speared it into the ground and it turned out i had bent the flange. So hard to find as it was only the slightest amount fortunately i had a spare diff centre so swaped the flanges and all good.

hope that helps.
