GQ Coil cab Long Range Tank?

Post by Wozza244 »

Just bought a nissan and my tank is too small for the kind of trips i do, yet i dont really want to have duals as i have plans for a water tank and air tank rear of the cab under the tray where the second tank would be normally mounted.

I do have about 300mm space above my original tank i could use for a custom made job but im not sure if its the best option

Who has done what and pics if possible
Cheers
Get out there!!

that have a 147L that sits in the original spot then also goes up and over the tail shaft, it suits the leaf spting and cab chassis, so you might need to call em and check,

I have a 150lt longrange tank in my GQ, it sits where the original tank lives, but drops down lower.
Im thinking of changing it back to a factory tank as this car is only for 4wding & not touring so the
long range is not required, but ground clearence is.

Plenty of tanks about, but something to consider is that if you have a body lift or extra space due to the nature of the tray , you might be able to get it made a bit bigger
I got mine extended an extra 2 " to suit the body lift for $75 extra and it gave an extra 18 litres over the standard long range tank.
If on the other hand you prefer the clearance, sometimes they can also make the tank sit 2" higher.
