Is mixing greases bad???

Hiya all,
Is it bad to mix greases?
It's not for suspension bushes etc but for door locking mechanisms. After inspecting my door lock mech. I drowned it in WD40 to get rid of the built up dirt (damn cheap Suzuki sealing, or lackof) which removed the factory grease. It now squeaks like a biatch over not-so-flat roads. I've then used the pressure pack white lithium grease but it doesn't last all that long. I have a tub of silicon grease in my garage somewhere. Can I use the silicon over the top of the lithium or should they not be mixed at all?
Or I was going to wipe off the old lithium first then shove the silicon in there in its place???
Your thoughts please.
Cheers.
