Single or dual axle camper trailer?

Looking into making a camper trailer and wondering how many people run dual axles and if its suitable for towing on corrugations and uneven terrain. Would be carrying a bit of weight coz i'd be taking work gear as well as play. The style would be a tapered side box trailer with doors both sides and probably a pop top tent n hope to fit a tinny on top. Looking for pro's n cons of the dual against single axle for weight and offroadability.

Depends on total wieght
Wether youll use double slipper springs or load sharing suspension (tandem)
My tandem has load sharing (rolla rocka)suspension and wouldnt have anything else ,ideal for ruff roads as no single wheel leaves the road
An issue of double slipper springs is one wheel could leave or lift of the road
If its total wieght is beyond 750 KGS loaded, youll need brakes of some description also
Really depends on what suits your needs
Single axle mite suit some but not others and vise versa

Single axles properly fitted and spec'd is less to go wrong and repair.

Have a look at the aftermarker trailers.
