Clutch pedal leaking

Post by BadLux »

My cousins hilux (1988 extra cab) has started leaking brake fluid from what looks like the master cylinder. It actually leaks from the rubber boot where the clutch pedal is pushing through the firewall. It's not leaking alot (few drips on the drivers side floor every second day or so) but is this something that should be fixed ASAP or just ignored for the time being? if it's a cheap fix then It's worth doing it before it does any damage? Thoughts?
