GQ SWB issues

Post by sir_142 »

okay, so i have something up with the LPG system in my GQ shorty. I filled both the LPG and the petrol tank, 200km later i ran out of fuel and the car wouldnt start. When driving i only ever had the petrol on when warming it up then flicked over to gas to drive, the petrol was dead empty when i went to fill it up (after i had to run up to the servo and buy a jerry can and put 5L in the tank). The LPG guage said it still had plenty in it but figured it must be stuffed cause i couldnt start it on LPG when i went to fill it up it only took 12L gas.... its a 95L tank. So im thinking when ive got the switch flicked onto LPG and the guage lights up its not actually switching to LPG (hence why its using my petrol) but it still is sucking some of the LPG or sometimes when i flick it over to LPG it actually stops using the petrol..... I dunno. Havent dealt much with LPG before any help would be appreciated and if any one knows a LPG centre or someone that could help me in Sydney that would be great

Cheers
