high guys looking into the idea of lengthening the chassis of my 87 ln65 to put a seies1 4runner rearcut on to it including the canopy. im going to use this car as a intercontinetal tourer in a couple of years and thinking of turning it into a dualcab wagon set up. i posted on here a few wks ago bout engine conversion ideas and was thinking bout a d4d conversion but thought i'll stick to an original 2L non turbo being easier overseas to get parts.any thoughts or ideas on these or any input/ideas would be awesome

hey mate,
a gen1 4runner has a shorter chassis than a hi lux.
It also has different body mounts.
If you want to do all this work and also want to keep a 2L under the hood, i would be sourcing a 2L-T gen1 4runner.
Will save a lot of hassles.

cheers. i was going to cut the 4runner chassis and graft it on the dual cab at the rear of the cab as the lenth of the rear section is longer then the dual cab sytleside tray.
