before i start im hopeless with auto electrical stuff..

Only experience i have is installing led lights lol..

SO

My hilux has spotties on it that have always worked fine..and for reasons unknown they dont work anymore?

Everything else works fine. Highbeam indicator light comes on the dash, Hi and low beam work in headlights.

They are on a switch and a relay. when i try to turn them on the relay makes a click noise. (might be normal as i said im new to electrical).

I didnt install them to begin with but never had a drama with them..All fuses look fine. The bulbs are fine in the lights also..its almost like theres no power getting to them at all

is it possible for relays to blow out or not?

thanks in advance

While it is possible for relay contacts to fail, it's not a common failure (if the relays were selected properly for the application).

You say fuses are fine - is that original manufacturer fuses in your fuse box, or did you find additional fuses in the supply to your spotlights?

If all your fuses are OK, try a test light on the relay terminals to see where there's power (if the relay is clicking, you should have power on at least one terminal at some time.)

If you still don't have any luck, copy down and post any terminal numbers and other identifying marks (manufacturer, part number etc) on the relay. That might help us talk you through the problem.

The black cylinder thing with a globe is really your fuse holder and fuse. More than likely it is corroded and taking the fuse out and putting it back in gave it a better contact.

You could try swapping the relays over and see if that makes a difference
