nearly finnished on a mpfi conversion on my siera, now i did it the hard way and didnt get a complete engine but it was cheep.
so had a efi dizzy sourced for me, the auto sparkies had to grind down the center bolt to make it fit the engine and now the engine retartds itself for a moment before acelerating. i only just found out what they did to the dizzy to make it fit so i figure it must be the wrong dizzy.

so i rang suzifour to order a new vitara dizzy the right one, and i told them its a 5 pin plug type, and they told me no such thing exists?
so i'm left wondering what dizzy do i have and what loom , also what dizzy do i need if the loom accepts a 5 point plug?

i was sure this motor was out of a vitara but it has a dark blue rocker cover if that means anything.

any help guys.

Can you read the suzuki part number off the dissy ? Will be a 5 didget no with a dash then a nother 5 didget no . no 3 and sometimes no 4 didget in the last group could be letters .
May be able to work it backwards with the no .

Cheers
Chris

got the wrong info fed to me, its a seven pin dizzy.
the motor is a baleno engine but the dizzy that suited the loom is to tall andhas to be filed down to make it fit.
so it retards initialy before accelerating, not masivily though.
wondering could i have a baleno motor and a vitara loom and ecu?
are they compatible?
