Hi guys,
I've got myself a new toy at add to my collection and need some help. The car is a VL calais (feel free to hang shit), I've built and dropped a 355 in it with 9 to one static comp so I can add boost. Now ideally I want to turbo it and rather than supercharge, Problem is if I do the turbo there physically isn't enough room do run a dump pipe and cross over pipe. Now I had this brilliand idea I had never seen utilized and thought I'd run it by those of you who know.
Ok idea is this, rather than run say a single 3 inch dump could I run say 3 inch of the back of the turbo then merged into twin 1 3/4 or 2 inch for example, would I have any significant loses this way?
Car is dailey driven straight lpg vehicle, power wise initially I'm aiming for 10psi, hoping to push 240-260 at the wheels, I don't need every last horse power.
Thoughts guys?
