Outer Limits 4x4 Board

So have been helping a mate do a lux conversion to a commodore VT engine and auto. Now find out that when up the bush the front tailshaft uni just hits on the VT auto aluminium sump? Any ideas?

some VTs had a deep sump, maybe your mates does, look for a shallow sump, you will need a oil filter to suit. My VT is an early acclaim and it is a deep sump.
