Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys
im just woundering if anybody has put a aftermarket airbox into their EFI engine i.e k&n system, and how did you overcome the airflow meter etc.
my standard one blew to pieces and am looking at how i can get a good airtight airbox.
