NSW to QLD DEFECTS

Well i live in NSW got a ute boosted 6" coils running 35's all the other goodies " Not engineered" . I'm heading up to fraiser island for a few weeks. i've heard alot about the police in QLD being hard on lifts and handing out defect's. so what could happen if they pull me over? DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY INFO

Defect notice placed on the car (not a sticker or anything it's just logged in thier system as a defective vehicle) usually a month to rectify said defect, fines, and a pit inspection to clear the defect. AFAIK any vehicle travelling in the state has to comply with that states rules as far as vehicle mods go.

if your not engineered QLD can tell you to get out of the state basicly. if your engineered then all they can do is do a RBT, check the certificate and wave you through as you have just proved its road worthy in the state you have it in, there are alot of QLD cars that get into Aus that wouldn't pass a road worthy due to rust, bald tyres and other defects that are checked at a pink slip
