The main thing is to get the clutch disc as centered as possible, slight misalignment in this area causes massive headaches when the motor just wont mate up to the box.

I use a couple of screw drivers in the bolt holes to align it as best as possible, and the other think to do is use a couple of longer bolts as these hold the motor and box up square when trying to fit it up. you can evenly tighten the bolts to pull it together.

this may sound stupid but what do you mean by centering clutch? when putting drive plate/ flywheel on then clutch and that gold plate housing thing.. then the 12 bolts shouldnt it be centered? or do i have to rotate it.?

No - you are talking the pressure plate centering. You need to ensure the splined hole in the centre ( that fits over the spiggot shaft on the gearbag) of the clutch plate needs to be centered. If its not you will have shed loads of dramas.

Also, you may just have to fiddle with the bellhousing angle with a jack from underneath and / or tilt the engine to match bellhousing angle

Other than that its a piece of piss.
