80 series thermostat temp specs

Post by macey »

Hi,
I have an 80 series with a 4.5 petrol and needing someone with a manual to find out what the opening temp of the thermostat is. Think mine is faulty and want to test it out on the stove before replacing it,just so i can eliminate that from the problem solving of an over heating issue.

Thank you.

A new one will prob set you back under 10 bucks prob easier just to replace an see if that does the trick as you will have it out anyways.

the thermostat should have the temp rating stamped on the bottom of it.
