hi all i was just wondering what would help my old 47 series cab from shaking around so much when hitting bumps, i am currently looking for new suspension but dont no what type to get, and wondered whether new cab mount rubbers would help at all as the old one are hard as crap, or do i need to build like a frame between mounts to stiffen the cab up
Thanks Shane Mulcahy

New chassis to cab rubbers would be a start, new rubbers throughout would make a huge difference - as the cabs are bolt-together all over, there are alot of joints which can rattle once the rubber have started to wear. Door rubbers, bonnet rubbers - the ones under the front of the bonnet that sit on the head light panel.
Firstly check any joints that may be loose - get a jimmybar, go to each chassis to cab mount and try to lift the cab off the chassis - any loose ones will rattle over bumps.
