I hate to state the obvious here....... but try the 15's...... I'm currently running 15's on early GU diffs fitted to my GQ.

15 x 7's will not fit, 15 x 8 with -25 offset will, on early model GU diffs(out of a 2,8 wagon), not sure about the rear on the leaf sprung.

I currently have ROH trak 2s in a 15 x 7" size fitted to my truck.
GU diffs in a GQ and have no dramas , the calipers are close but still don't scrub.
I'm not sure of the offset though...

It appears that you will need to try the rims on your vehicle, as has been shown that "Rims aren't Rims".
