Hi everyone, I am Righi from brazil where i own a Hilux SW4 1997 KZ TE, I know that the ovrheating topic must be very explained here but please gimme a hand.
A bigger radiator would work??
which is the catalog number for the bigger radiator ? (in Brazil people say is the one which comes with the Hilux 99/.
Do oyu think an intercooler will help instead of radiator changing??
thanks everyone, right now my toyota is fixing the engine head!! :bad-words:

Is the radiator an original 1kz?

If auto put in an aftermarket transmission cooler. This stops the heat build up.

An aftermarket alloy radiator could help.

If you are auto transmission, buy a separate auto transmission cooler.

if it is an auto the factory transmission cooler sits in the bottom of the radiator effectively blocking 50% of the flow.
a standard alloy manual radiator and a large aftermarket oil cooler should fix your woes.

If it is a manual, while it is apart to do the head, change the water pump or at least check for corrosion and blockages at the rear of the pump, plus new thermostat
