1992 80s series any good?

Hi looking to buy a 92 cruiser 80 ive had a old patrol that died and always liked the look of a cruiser any thoughts would be helpfull. Looking at a petrol version.

depends which month 92

the late ones are the 1st updated version, 1fzfe motor, the bigger brakes etc

october i think to tired to remember the exact date

early 92 and its a 4.0 petrol duel fuel.

The good thing about them is they are cheap. They aren't as sought after as the later 4.5. The 4.5 is the better engine. Performance wise the 4 litre is on par with the 1hz non turbo diesel but uses twice the fuel. 4 litre is worth 5 grand in typical condition.

I have been thinking of a 4.5, what type of fuel usage do they get?

anywhere between 16 and 20 litres per 100 around town. more off road, and sometimes less on the highway.

a 3f is more like 18-24

No worse then my old TB42 and with alot more power, bonus...
